DNAfabric replaces multiple single function data management products with one comprehensive toolset across indexing, browse, search, analysis, de-dupe, backup, archive and sync. Rather than manage multiple products with different interfaces, different databases and different workflows, DNAfabric provides a single pane of glass across all of your data, workflows, sites and clouds.
LTO Integration
DNAfabric now manages LTO tape in addition to disk, object and cloud.
DNAfabric will bring the ability to create open LTFS format tapes, support for LTO-9, ability to manage multi-petabyte automation libraries and advanced features like Avid, Adobe support and conforming.
Existing DNAevolution LTO customers also have a seamless and non-disruptive migration path to DNAfabric. With DNAfabric, users will be able to manage not just LTO tapes but also workflows and data across any storage or location.
DNAfabric Platform Options & Licensing
DNAfabric is licensed by data manager nodes while the central controller license is free. The following are the different types of nodes that can be deployed across one or more locations and one or more cloud providers.
